Certiverse Adds Three Testing Industry Leaders To Executive Roles

Industry veterans Patrick Coates, Mary Beth Mohn and David Pascal join the company’s C-suite to support product growth and visibility

CHICAGO – May 5, 2021 –  Certiverse, the first-of-its-kind online exam development system, today announced the addition of Chief Revenue Officer Patrick Coates, Chief Marketing Officer Mary Beth Mohn and Chief Solutions Officer David Pascal to the start-up company’s leadership.

With support from recent series seed financing, Certiverse is expanding its deeply experienced global team to provide greater innovation and access to new entrants in the testing industry.

Patrick Coates’s background in business development includes 30 years of experience in technology-enabled assessment and learning. He has supported the design and delivery of high-quality, customer-focused solutions and is active within the global assessment community. His consultative approach and demonstrable global experience lead Certiverse’s effort to grow within the international testing market.

Mary Beth (MB) Mohn brings to her role 20 years of experience leading full-service marketing teams, 14 years of SaaS product marketing experience and 10 years of experience in the credentialing and testing industry—formerly as head of global strategic marketing for Pearson VUE. She will now guide the marketing transition between Certiverse’s start-up phase and its ongoing presence as an industry leader.

David Pascal applies his more than 20 years in product development, operations, and global sales support in the assessment, certification and learning industry to set Certiverse’s balance between service offerings and business objectives. He is actively focused on integrating mission-critical standards, processes and technology to support Certiverse’s long-term goals.

“No matter how innovative an idea may be, it takes the right people to bring it to life,” said CEO Ruben Arturo Garcia. “I’m excited to add so much perspective, drive and talent to our thriving young company.”
